Serialized Retrospective
Usually on Sunday – if there is little traffic – you can find me on an industrial estate somewhere in the Netherlands. I drive around, roaming the streets step by step, until my eye is triggered by an inspiring part of a building. I stop my car and step out to capture a new image in a contemplative way.
Coming home begins the post production process where many photo’s afterwards will not reach the finish line.
This method creates a hodgepodge of images that I present on my website, but where – except that they are all minimalist architectural recordings – little coherence can be discerned.
In this third coffee table book I present you a retrospective of some of the works that I have recorded over the past two years. This time I have chosen to create more coherence by presenting them serialized.
